GT380 One Carb Float different than the other two?
Hello,
I have a 1974 GT380L. I was told by a dealer that one of the three carburetor floats is different and the other two are the same. Looking at all three they look identical? Maybe one has is its two buoys not so fat, thus less volume. If true, is this for the center cylinder? It would allow the gas level to be higher and thus that cylinder would run richer and cooler?
Is it true one of the three floats is different?
Which one is it Left, Center, or right
How is it different?
Why is it different?
Can I use one of the other two and maybe flatten the buoys and /or adjust the float height?
I can get the two that are alike, but not the one that is unique
Thanks for the help

CARB FLOATS
Hi mate,
Dont think theres any difference in floats, but i know that the middle main jet is bigger because your middle
pot gets a little bit hotter.Hope this helps.
Cheers Dave

GT380 Carb Floats
I use www.cmsnl.com. They provide some fiche for Suzuki.
It looks on a 1974-77 GT380, main jets are all the same part numbers. They don't show one of the float part numbers. weird.
Does anyone know what the main jet shoul be for the center carb?
Did later models change the Jet size?
Cheers from USA
