What engine oil are we all useing?
Hey what type of oil are you guys useing? in both the engine and in the oil resevoir? Mine is smoking to much. New spark Plugs, but I need to find the right oil? any suggestions? And, what wieght of oil are you useing for the clutch?

Use 10W/40 in the transmission, anything else and you might suffer clutch drag. In the engine I would not be too fussed. Some people swear by synthetics but I think a decent mineral 2 stroke oil will be fine, after all that's all there was when these engines were built and they are not highly-stressed.

I use 10/40 transmission and castrol power1 synthetic that what they put in it when i had a rebore and crank done.....................sadly no smoke

I've got 15w 40 oil in my tranny and haven't noticed clutch drag. I might try some thinner stuff and see if there's a difference... I run Castrol 2 stroke oil in the motor, I think the bottle has a picture of an outboard boat engine on it. It seems to work well. I do get some smoke, but it's probably due to a slightly maladjusted oil pump. But that's why we ride two-smokers, right?
