Muffler Packing-did theGT550 ever have any? Empty Muffler Packing-did theGT550 ever have any?

I've notice my recent purchase of the GT550 is loud, and after looking at the online part sheets thru different links, they do not appear to show any packing (superwool 607, etc) but just a inner baffle pipe. Is this the only thing to be removed and cleaned then?

Yes it does have the wrap, just found a baffle set on Ebay (see pix)
