GT550A - Black Oil!
Can anyone tell me why after a short run or warm-up in the garage during the winter months, I get quite a lot of thick black oil seeping from the drain hole in my left cylinder exhaust? The other cylinders seem fine.
Could it be something to do with the SRIS or CCI system?
Any advice on how to fix the problem please would be most appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: GT550A - Black Oil!
Hi
Maybe it coult be transmission oil ?
The right outer main bearing is lubricatet with transmission oil, and the right crankcase is connectet with the left cylinders scavenging port by the SRIS hose. A leaking oilseal, maybe

Thanks very much for your response and your English is much better than my Danish !
I will check the oil level in the transmission to see if it is using any, if so then that would explain it.
Best Regards.
