Romancing the Seventies !
Hello all, Had my GT550 for over a year now and love it to bits, I hardly ever ride my other machine (Blackbird).
It's a Candy Orange GT550 "M" 1975 import, 11K miles all totally original and stock. It came from San Fernando California so very little corrosion and all together untouched.
I have tweaked it slightly by fitting a boyer bransden electronic ignition system and a cibie headlight (still kept the old bits). I remember doing this to all my GT's bikes in my youth in the seventies and the improvement is beneficial.
Why aren't all bikes this comfortable to ride nowadays?
In Derbyshire, England.
