I have a similar sound that developed very recently but only in fourth gear and I have not had any engine work done. upon noticing this I changed my oil strait away, and found the old oil to be a creamy green colour?! and was not to viscous. I guess my question is, is my transmission on its last leg? and is there any risk of it jamming up at 110 kph sending me into a gardrail and and in the end a casket??
